The 157th Birth Anniversary of Sister Nivedita on 28 October 2024 was observed with a Classical Music Concert on 5 November 2024 at 4 pm in Vivekananda Hall of the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Golpark.The programme began with Vedic Chanting by three Sannyasinis of Sri Sarada Math followed by the Welcome Address by Pravrajika Nikhilprana. 'Role of Music in the Spiritual field particularly in the Ramakrishna Movement' was discussed by Pr Asaktaprana before the enchanting Sarod Recital by Sri Abhishek Lahiri for an hour. Sm Kaushiki Chakraborty captivated the audience of about 900 by her Dhrupad Recital for more than an hour. The programme was concluded by the Vote of Thanks by Pravrajika Nirvedaprana.
